Printing a List of Planned Transfers
An Open Planned Transfer can be printed when the Finish option is selected. A Select An Option window appears and displays the following choices:
- DON'T PRINT TRANSFER – Select DON’T PRINT TRANSFER and the system will not print the planned transfer. Proceed to the next step.
- PRINT TRANSFER – Select PRINT TRANSFER to print the planned transfer.
- EXIT – Select EXIT to leave the Select An Option window and return to the planned transfer entry page.
Select Print Transfer,
Command options will appear allowing you to print or choose from a set of other print options.
The report will print as described below.
Open and Completed Planned Transfers can also be printed using the Print Option from the Select An Open Planned Transfer window.
1.When you first enter into the Planned Transfer option, a Select An Open Planned Transfer window appears and displays the following options:
- EXIT – Select EXIT to leave this option.
- NEW – Select NEW to create a new planned transfer.

- EXIT – Select EXIT to leave this option.
- NEW – Select NEW to create a new planned transfer.
- FIND – Select FIND to find a previously entered Open Planned Transfer by the Planned Transfer reference number.
- PRINT – Select PRINT to print a completed planned transfer.
- STANDARD - Select STANDARD to create a Planned Transfer from a Standard Transfers Template. The STANDARD option will only appear if Standard Transfers have been create in the system. See Standard Transfers for more information.
- A list all open planned transfers with the following information:
- The Planned Transfer Expected Date.
- The Planned Transfer Reference Number.
- The Planned Transfer header note if one was entered.
- The first "From" item code on the transfer.
- ... More to indicate the transfer has more than one "From" item
- Next Lot - Next Lot will appear if one of the "From" lots has not been assigned to a specific lot by using the Next Lot option
- CLOSED - Select Closed to view a list of Closed Planned Transfers closed on the current system date. Closed Planned Transfer cannot be changed.
- A Select A Closed Planned Transfer window will appear with the following options:
- The completed date and time of the Planned Transfer.
- The Planned Transfer reference number.
- The Planned Transfer header note.
Select Print
2. A Select An Option window appears and displays the following choices: E
- EXIT - Select EXIT and the system will leave this option.
- CHANGE DATES - Select CHANGE DATES and the system will allow you to access the "from" date and "to" date fields. Enter in the appropriate date or a range of dates.
- SELECT BY REF NUMBER - Select the SELECT BY REF NUMBER, to find a specific Planned Transfer by reference number. Enter in the reference number of the planned transfer to print.
- SELECTION BOX - If you select SELECTION BOX, the system will list all completed planned transfers based on the current system date or the dates entered using the Change dates option above. A Select A Planned Transfer window will appear with the following options:
- EXIT – Select Exit to exit without printing.
- ALL – Select ALL to print all closed planned transfers.
- A list of closed planned transfers displaying the following information:
- "Chg" = Changed, "Prtd" = Printed, or "Unpr" = Un-printed - Indicates whether the planned transfer has been Changed, Printed or Un-printed
- The planned transfer number.
- The planned transfer opened date.
- The planned transfer completed date.
- The planned transfer Note.
- After selecting which planned transfer to print, select Exit
After selecting which Planned Transfer to Print, the system will display the following message: "Print text? Yes/No."
- Select yes to print text.
- Select no if you do not want to print text.
3. Command options will appear allowing you to print or choose from a set of other print options.
The following information will print:
Header
- Opened – The date the planned transfer was opened.
- Planned – The planned transfer expected date.
- Changed - The date and time the planned transfer was changed if applicable.
- Completed – The planned transfer completed date if closed.
- Note – The planned transfer header note.
- Carrier – The name of the optional carrier assigned to the planned transfer.
- The planned transfer text message line if applicable.
Line Item Detail
- For the "From" item:
- The item id and item name.
- Based on the "What Prints On" setting for the Planned Transfers (PT) in Inventory Options, the Physical Location and Old item Id will be included on the report
- The total pounds and per pound unit cost of the transfer. The unit cost will only print on the completed planned transfer.
- The total quantity and per unit cost based on the stocking unit of measure. If the stocking unit of measure is pounds , only the pounds total pounds and per pound unit cost will print.
- For each lot selected:
- The total quantity transferred based on the stocking unit of measure. The Open Planned Transfer will include a "________" that can used to confirm the quantity to transfer.
- The vendor id or "//////" if the lot originated from more than one vendor.
- The lot open date.
- The location ID, (if the item is lotted) and lot number. If the location is slotted, the slot number from which the lot was pulled. The Open Planned Transfer will include "NEXT LOT" and a "________" that can used to confirm the lot number if Next Lot was selected.
- The COOL identity for the lot selected or "Loose" to indicate the item Cool level is set to loose and the lot does not have a COOL Identity.
- The remaining item info lot attributes
based on the PT print settings for the Item Info template.
- For the "To" item:
- The item id and item name.
- Yield – The yield of the transfer which is derived by the following calculation: ("to" weight/"from weight") x 100 = yield %.
- The total pounds and per pound unit cost of the transfer. The unit cost will only print on the completed planned transfer.
- The total quantity and per unit cost based on the stocking unit of measure. If the stocking unit of measure is pounds , only the pounds total pounds and per pound unit cost will print. The unit cost will only print on the completed planned transfer.
- For the lot created:
- The total quantity transferred based on the stocking unit of measure.The Open Planned Transfer will include a "________" that can used to confirm the quantity to transfer.
- The vendor Id or "//////" if the lot originated from more than one vendor.
- The lot open date.
- The location ID,(if the item is lotted) and lot number. If the location is slotted, the slot number the lot was placed into.The Open Planned Transfer will include a "________" that can used to confirm the lot number used to receive the transfer.
- The COOL identity for the lot selected or "Loose" to indicate the item cool level is set to loose and the lot does not have a COOL Identity. The Open Planned Transfer will include a "________" that can used to confirm the COOL identify if one was not supplied on the planned transfer.
- The remaining item info lot attributes
- if the "To" item is an In-Process type item code, the average Lbs per EA for the Lot will be included on the report.
Footer
- If Chargers were entered
- Ref – The voucher number assigned to the vendor charge or the journal entry reference number
- Charge – The vendor ID or the cost adjustment type ID
- Description – The description entered on the charge
- Account number – The general ledger account number the voucher or cost adjustment type was posted to
- Amount – The method used to enter the charge: total dollar or per pound
- Total – The total value of the per pound charge or voucher created
- The inventory or value adjustment type name if an item was transferred to none or a standard cost adjustment if applicable.
- The inventory adjustment reason if applicable.
- The general ledger batch number used to record the inventory value for the transfer of one item to another that has a different sales category, the value of the inventory adjustment for items transferred to none or the difference in value for an item transferred to a standard cost item.
